Burglars want to rob your house, will you defend it? This printable escape room is an adventure for kids, families and adults as they trick Harv and Larry, evade capture, and finally turn those burglars over to the police at the end! Use logic and creative thinking to place toy cars just right for the perfect trap, study plans to drop paint cans from the balcony, and create an origami tree house to make your escape! Up to 8 players is recommended, larger groups can print it out twice and even race each other! This test of wits includes 13 challenges to solve in an immersive escape room atmosphere. Clues to the answers deck the halls, floor, and in envelopes players open as the game goes on. Game play is about 60 minutes, with recommended ages 8 and up. Hints are included to help younger players and make the game stress free. A fun challenge at the end finally gets the burglars to jail! Older players can be challenged to solve without using any hints while asking them, “You guys give up? Or are you thirsty for more?”
What's the story?
Your family is off to Paris, but they left you behind! Two burglars, Harv and Larry, are determined to rob your house while everyone is away. They are almost to the doors! You need to find the key to open the upstairs window and find a cell phone to call the cops, all while keeping one step ahead of Harv and Larry! You see a broken tv and some train tracks. Hurry, this is your house, you have to defend it!

Great escape room game. I bought it for a group of 5, 10 year olds for my son's birthday. I was able to immediately download it. I emailed it to Staples and had it printed on color paper so it looked nice. It took about an hr for me to set it up. The kids worked together as one group and were focused for over an hr and a half and finished the whole thing. I was the lock keeper and gave them hints as needed. The kids loved it! I would definitely recommend. I would buy another from this seller.

This game was played with a group of 15 3rd graders. We split the group into 2 and split the game between the two groups. It worked great and the kids loved it. It took maybe an hour of working together for them to solve all the problems. They had a blast with it!

We played this with our 30-something kids. They loved it. They enjoyed solving the puzzles and finding the clues. Everything you need is in the file. You just need a printer and some scissors. Very clever!
